Virginia’s Medicaid Waivers fund a variety of supports and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families who may need long-term support systems to live successfully in their community rather than in institutional settings.

The mission of the Arc of Virginia is to promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc strives to support their full inclusion and participation in their communities throughout their lifetimes.
The goal of the PWC Community Services Board is to improve the well-being of residents of Prince William County who have developmental delays/disabilities by providing and coordinating community-based resources that respect and promote the dignity, rights and full participation of individuals and their families.
